It is anticipated that each role will require an average 2-5 hours per week to fulfil.
We are very grateful for all the offers of support we have received so far, but now that we have highlighted these specific roles, please would you offer your support again, stating which of them you feel capable of fulfilling. If you are volunteering to be a point person for your church (see second item below), please agree this with your church leader before making your offer.

1)Team Leader |
The Team Leader will steer overall direction and tone of the response, and will oversee the liaison and coordination of the Ukrainian Refugee Response with TFI, local church point persons (a mechanism which encourages churches not already involved, or involved in isolation, to step forward), and local authority and other agency point persons. |

2) Point Person for EACH participating church |
The Point Person at each participating church will filter expressions of interest and queries, answer simple questions, communicate overall progress to their church congregation, and report local progress/developments back to the team leader. They will support and encourage their church to develop strategy and heart to engage with refugees, and will know where to point their church members to for the different resources that TFI and others can offer (or come to the team leader/administrator for that info). |

3) Relationship Officer |
The Relationship Officer will initiate the provision of cultural, relational, and pastoral advice, and actively support host and guest family relationships, (including safeguarding, trouble shooting, conflict resolution and simple [non-professional] trauma awareness) and offer training and teaching to churches (in liaison with each church point person). They will also help network host families for mutual encouragement and advice. |

4) Prayer Coordinator |
The Prayer Coordinator will pray consistently for all 'stakeholders' in the process, and for peace in Ukraine, and will commit to listening to God on their behalf, and will mobilise prayer through churches, WhatsApp groups, prayer meetings etc. |

5) Matching Officer |
The Matching Officer will be dedicated to the practicalities of the actual matching processes, be they through Reset, Facebook, C of E, trusted agencies etc. They will provide practical assistance and advice, such as registrations, visa applications, form filling advice, and signposting to the resources that are now available. They will also develop and communicate risk assessments. |

6) Research Office |
The Research Officer will access, locate, read, and absorb new legal requirements and national, regional, and local guidelines, and summarise, communicate, and publicise the important facts in social media and to the relevant team members. This role may involve some liaison with local authorities and other refugee agencies. |

7) Administrator |
The Administrator will manage correspondence through info@togetherforipswich.uk, receiving and sending emails, distributing them to the right team members, will collect and collate data and lists, and stay on top of the paperwork. |

|
8) IT Officer |
The IT Officer will oversee communications, including the TFI website, Facebook accounts, Forms and integrations. |

9) Health Advisor |
The Health Advisor will have knowledge of the NHS, and will signpost host families and guests to professional health and mental health resources in the town, and assist with accessing GPs, dentists, medical appointments etc. |

10) Education Advisor |
The Education Advisor will have knowledge of the education sector, and will signpost host families and guests to adult and children education resources in the town, including language courses, and assist with placements, appointments etc. |

11) Housing, Benefits, Employment Advisor |
The Housing, Benefits and Employment Advisor will keep up to date with and advise on housing provision and benefits, issues regarding Council Tax, HMOs, landlord requirements etc, and also connect accommodation with those who need them (e.g., when refugees leave their host households in a few months’ time). |

12) Creative Services Advisor |
The Creative Services Advisor will provide signposting for job-seeking refugees, assist with interview preparation, and also open doors for social activities, sport, entertainment, travel, child support etc, will ensure events are coordinated and (if required) funds are raised. |
